​BTI has a successful track record serving as an appointed appraiser in appraisal hearings and service clients throughout the United States.

Appraisal Hearings are held in accordance with the language in all insurance policies. The language states when there is a disagreement regarding the value of the loss between the insured and the insurer, the issue goes to “Appraisal”. 

Each party selects an appraiser and the two appraisers select a third. The decision of any two of the three appraisers settles the case. This applies to losses of real estate, cars, residential contents, business equipment and inventory.  It is also applied to loss of use (or rental value) of real estate, as well as loss of income to a business.  ​
